Alice Community Development Center (ACDC) was established
in July 2005 to keep alive the inspiration of mother Alice. The organization intent to work under the “THE TRUST”
& “THE VOLUNTARY SOCIAL WELFARE ORGANIZATION” Acts of 1862 &1961 respectively.
Mother Alice was a social lady that worked with devotion and dedication for the welfare
of the community. Her voluntarily contribution to the society was a reflection of her love and passion which was her endurance.
She was born in 1934 in a low- income family of a small village. Her early years were
teaching her how the poverty is bitter! But she was a brave lady that stood against
the torrent of difficulties and never give them up unsettled throughout her life. She always comes up with increased positive
attitude to face living challenges and that was the tremendous dimension of her personality. She got prospers with eight family
members when married. She worked round the clock with her husband in fields, stitching clothes too; to make sure her children
are on the way to become educated.
Her social efforts include teaching and counseling of town ladies to skilled them in solution
finding for their difficulties by being supportive to their families. She helped the community in family planning programs,
provides financial assistance to those in need of and kept herself involve in helping day-to-day matters of the surrounding
community.
Things stayed moving on and this great lady continued adding up her best investment in
the form of social uplifting when God called her back in July 2005. Does worldly life eternal??? “No”------- one
has to go where one belongs. So mother Alice has passed her life and she is no more physically among us but her passion, love,
compassion and devotion has kept her alive in our hearts and now she is living a new life as “ACDC” to keep her
ambition prolonged to facilitating and mentoring the needy and deserved community.
